Over the past seven years Unison Global Corporation has been engaged in several research-based and development activities within the Caribbean. Some of our significant achievements include:
- Conduct of a ICT for Education Research Project in Antigua and Barbuda (new).
- Resource Development, skills assessment, and logistical support for ICT in Education training programmes in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and St. Vincent and the Grenadines (sub-contract).
- Conduct of an ICT Skills Assessment Survey of Secondary Educators for the Ministry of Education in Barbados (sub-contract).
- Development of “Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Learning Outcomes In Mathematics and Language Arts for Lower Secondary School Students in the Eastern Caribbean”; associated teacher’s guide and training for the OECS Education Reform Unit (OERU) in St. Lucia.
- Conduct of Software Evaluation workshops for OERU in 4 Eastern Caribbean countries – St. Kitts and Nevis, Grenada, Dominica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
- Development of “A Guide to the Integration of Solid Waste Management into the School Curriculum” and related interactive CD for the Solid Waste Management Project Unit in Barbados.
- Development of an educational game – “Waste Busters” – and related interactive CD for the Solid Waste Management Project Unit in Barbados.
