Pay Transparency Statement
 

Unison shall not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer or (c) consistent with the company’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 30-1.35(c)

E-Verify 

Unison participates in E-Verify. E-Verify is an Internet based system operated by the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA) that allows participating employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their employees.

Transparency in Coverage  

In response to the federal Transparency in Coverage rule, Unison’s employee benefits provider, Cigna, has provided Machine Readable Files. These include negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to more easily access and analyze data.
